Take a Peek at Pigeon Rocks
If a long walk along the waterfront in Beirut is on your to do list, you may want to walk from the Intercontinential Hotel downtown to the Pigeons’Rocks – two unique rocks jutting out of the Mediterranean Sea. These rocks form one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. As you walk along the wide paved path you will see couples walking hand in hand, men fishing off the rocks, people enjoying a pipe of shisha while watching the sunset. The waterfront is always a hub of activity and a great way to spend one of your days in Lebanon's beautiful capital city.
