Hi Teresa this is Varty I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart because you just made my day .the video you have once documented about Aleppo Syria just took me back to my childhood and old memories since the war has began in Syria me and my family escaped the horrors of the war and now we are in a safer country. But seing that video just melted my heart and reminded me of the beautiful side of my beloved homeland. Hope soon the war ends and everone could go and see the wonders of Syria. Thanks again and again ..Best regards from a syrian woman.Varty
Hello Teresa
My name is Zinia and Im from Aleppo!I could not possibly thank you enough for the incredibly beautiful videos u have shot of my lovely hometown Aleppo. Aleppo has a magical charm that only few understand but once they do, they're hooked! After seeing your videos, I realized how true it is when they say "you only know the value of something after losing it". This is how it was with me, personally. I love and have always loved Aleppo deeply but after losing almost half of it through bombs and destruction, we were only left with photos that made us really grieve over what we've lost. Seeing your awesome videos gives me hope and a sense of our beautiful past. Our city as uve seen and experienced is a simple city with simple loving welcoming people. If you happen to have any curious questions, be free to ask me. Thank you again for the lovely moments you have shared with us. Hoping one day, we could rebuild what has been destroyed and you could visit us again but next time, I will personally be your guide!!! Have a great day Teresa!Lots of admiration,Zinia

This email I recently received breaks my heart...
Hi Teresa :)
I'm Ahmad, a Syrian guy from Aleppo...
I'm sure you're watching the shocking news coming from Aleppo and all of Syria everyday! I am writing this to let you know that I stumbled upon a couple video clips that you had apparently videotaped personally as you appear in these videos... Thank you for filming these clips. They're priceless now as the city is almost completely sabotaged and destruction is everywhere... :(
I've been out of Syria for a couple of months now where I came to Turkey in search of employment. I'm a teacher of English and I'm currently teaching at Zirve
University south of Turkey...
Please spread the word and raise the awareness. Aleppo is being wiped off the map by its merciless government and the people of Aleppo are being starved to death :(
Pray for Aleppo and all of Syria...
Cheers,
Ahmad

Hello, Justin here. Im a 27 year old whose watched Schindler's List, once in High School. Now that I've been out and away from there for a little while, I have HBO. They have his movie, Schindler's List ONDEMAND this month. I'd just like to say, I've seen your video of when you visited his Gravesite and I think it's wonderful. Oskar Schindler was in my eyes, a God amoung Men. He truely didn't at all have to do what he did in saving all those people, but the fact that he did just speaks volumes about the kind of person he really and honestly was. Thank you Mr. Schindler and thank you, Teresa. Great work! - TeufelHunden07

Creepy Men of Napoli Video
THANK YOU!!!
I came here to Italy with the US Navy when I was 20, met my Italian husband-to-be, and have been here ever since. The problem is, there is no opportunity for us to travel (3 still-at-home kids; no work) and southern Italy is notorious for lack of...just about everything. I'm 54 this year and I was practically in tears of frustration this summer, until...I discovered your videos. And I really can't thank you enough, my dear. You take me all over the place, your camera points to where my eye wants to go, and you answer all the spontaneous questions that pop into mind along the way. You're poised and natural in front of the camera, and your 9-minute videos are just enough to be a satisfactory mini-tour (the shorter ones are far too short for my taste---you're too good to miss!). Life is an adventure for you and you make it one for those of us whose circumstances don't allow this. I just wanted to thank you! best regards,
Lynn - Italy

Oskar Schindler's Grave
RE: Oskar Schindler and My Father Olek
I see you posted a video about the Holocaust. Im also making video content about this topic. In fact, in 1999 I made a documentary for the American cable network A&E about Oskar Schindler. It includes a lot of material that was left out of the Spielberg film. You might want to visit my YouTube page, http://www.youtube.com/user/MartinKentFilms or my website, www.yearslaterwewouldremember.com where you can see my entire documentary, broken down into clips 1-7. Go to the "BOOKS AND FILM" hyperlink and when you pass your cursor over it, a dropdown menu will reveal "VIDEO CLIPS." Click that. There you can watch the various sections of my Schindler film, "Oskar Schindler: The Man Behind the List."
You can also see a clip from my forthcoming film, "Years Later We Would Remember." It recounts the story of how I went to Poland with my father, and learned about how in 1942-45 my father Olek, a 19-year-old Polish Catholic boy, saved my mother Ziuta, a 20-year-old Jewish girl, on the run after Nazis had massacred over 6,000 Jews in her town. My father has since been awarded the Righteous Among the Nations medal, the very same award given to Oskar Schindler!
If you are so moved, please leave a comment on my website. Stop back often to see what's new. It is my sincere hope to promote tolerance and equality in the world.
My sincere thanks for your interest,
Martin Kent - United States
